Gregory "Scott" Duncan, 53, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017. He was born August 16, 1963 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Dewey E. Duncan and Dean Howell. He worked as an Account Executive for Fidelity Information Services for over 20 years. In 2015 to spend more time with family and friends, he changed careers and became a delivery driver for FedEx.
Those who knew Scott knew he had a love/hate relationship with the Razorbacks. He enjoyed being out on his boat on the Arkansas River, fishing with his son, going to Jamaica with his wife, and spending Christmas in Branson with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Dean and George Howell; wife, Loretta Duncan; children, Zachary Scott Duncan and Payton Douglas Holmes; niece, Sarah Maddox; siblings, Marty Duncan, Valerie Little (John); nieces and nephews, Heather Page (Jeremy), Stephanie McIntosh (Josh), Kirsty McCracken (Jimmy), Ryan Edens, Allyson Little and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey E. Duncan; and his uncle, Elton Duncan.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 320 Executive Ct., Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church, 4501 Burrow Drive, North Little Rock. The service will be live streamed at www.FirstNLR.tv for those who are unable to attend. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery in Redfield.
If you would like to see Scott, please come to the visitation or arrive early for the service, as there will be no viewing after the service, due to the distance to the gravesite.
