Greg Kelley, born on May 8, 1959, in Santa Ana, California, peacefully departed from this world on July 14, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones in Malvern, Arkansas. He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Clyde Perry Kelley and Dorthy May Blair; stepmother, Ruth Clevenger; brother, Bill Kelley; sister, Marybeth Dragoman; and step-brother, Steve Clevenger.
Greg leaves behind a legacy of kindness and that touched the lives of many. His nature and willingness to lend a helping hand to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Greg's passion for singing, cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the San Diego Padres, brought joy to those around him, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever. He was a man who wore many hats during his years serving as a campus police officer, hospital security officer, and private corrections guard. In his pastimes he found solace in watching true crime shows and spending quality time with his family, a testament to his love for both mystery and cherished company. One of his proudest accomplishments was living by God's word, a principle that guided him through life's challenges.
His memory will be In the hearts of his surviving family and friends including: his devoted wife, Linda Boggs-Kelley; beloved children, Ryan Kelley, Heather Linares, and Angela Kelley; supportive brother, Gary Kelley; and caring sister, Ruth Bradford; He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Rolando, America, Hope, Cris, Kyle, Vince, Autumn, and Summer.
The services to honor Greg's life will be held on July 20th at the Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
