Grady W. Kimbrell age 91 of Gurdon died Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Arkadelphia.
He was born January 18, 1918 in Okolona, AR. the son of William Boman and Jette Mae Long Kimbrell. Grady was a construction worker, retired from the Gurdon Street Department and an U. S. Army veteran of WW II. His wife, Flora Mae Brookings Kimbrell and one brother, Hugh Kimbrell preceded him in death.
Survivors include one sister-n-law, Coy Kimbrell of Gurdon, AR; nieces, Patsy (Eldon) Hamm of Okolona, AR; Helen (Johnny) Masey of Hallsville, TX; Alma Wilson of Amity, AR; nephews, Tommy (Charlotte) Williams of Little Rock, AR; Roy (Judy) Williams of Holyoke, MA; special friends, Kenneth Smithpeters of Rogers, AR; Jimmy Smithpeters; Barbara Myers and Etta Thomas all of Gurdon, AR.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia with Rev. Charles Leslie officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 PM Sunday until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
