Gracie Denton

Gracie M. Denton age 66, of the Manchester Community near Arkadelphia, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at her home. She was born June 30, 1941 in Picher, Oklahoma the daughter of Albert Virgil and Mae Alene Messer Lomas. Mrs. Denton was a store clerk in the Arkadelphia area for several years.

Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Lovell of Kyle, Texas; Lora Kimery of Arkadelphia; Tanya Dickey Swartwood of Heber Springs; three brothers, Billy Joe Lomas of Joplin, Missouri; Claude Leroy Lomas of El Centro, California; Donnie Lomas of Indio, California; two sisters, Virginia Graf of Holtville, California; Barbara Shores of Needville, Texas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Denton officiating. Pallbearers will be Greg Arnold, David Long, Billy Tucker, Mike Russell, Al Wilham and Tommy Arnold. Interment will be in the DeLamar Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the DeLamar Cemetery Fund or the American Cancer Society.
