Grace Tenney

Grace Phillips Tenney, age 90, of North Little Rock, passed away December 24, 2010. Born November 16, 1920 in Clarksville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Susie Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, of 67 years; and her only sibling, Ben Phillips Jr. She is survived by three sons, George Tenney, and wife Judith of Sugar Land, Texas, Phillip Tenney of Decatur, Arkansas, and John Tenney of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Bill Tenney, Mike Tenney and wife Sarah, and Matt Tenney, and wife Amy, and Angela Jones and husband Jon; seven great-grandchildren: Mackenzie and Drew Jones; John, Colin, Beth, Grace and Avery Tenney.

Grace was a graduate of Clarksville High School and the College of the Ozarks. She was a homemaker who sacrificially took care of her family without regard for self. She was devoted to the study of God's word. Her life testified to her love for God and others. She served over 20 years with Women's Bible Study Fellowship and was a member of Fellowship North.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m Wednesday at Fellowship North with Pastor Craig Loibner officiating. Internment will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home,1921 N. Main St. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fellowship North, 1 East 52nd Place, North Little Rock, Arkansas. 72116 or the charity of your choice.
