Grace Kennedy

Grace Kennedy, age 88, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019. She was born on February 26, 1931 in Leakey, Texas, the daughter of Paul Bently Large and Alice Shackelford Large. On April 26, 1949, she was married to Haskell "Hack" Kennedy who preceded her in death on November 15, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Kennedy; and her parents. She was retired from Curt Bean Lumber Company and was a Christian in her faith. In earlier years, she enjoyed hunting, fishing and was very active with the Glenwood Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by her granddaughter, Robin Peyton; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Campbell, Catherine Campbell and Stacey Campbell, all of Glenwood. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
