Grace Young Gilson, age 88, passed away January 11, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Mitchell, Harvey A. Battles, Darrell Young, Clara Young Faucett (Pat), and Perry Young (Denise); her grandchildren, Bobbie Sue, Phillip, Tina, Sherry, Grace June, Mistie, Destiny, Shelley, Perry Anthony, and Cailey; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren, and her brother, Troy Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Clara Standridge Jones; husband of 40 years, Wade Young, her late husband, Boyd Gilson; daughter-in-law, Mary Mitchell; and siblings Dovie, Bertha, Amy, Ann, Lela, Truman, and Harvey.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service and burial will be in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
