Grace Elizabeth Young

On January 25, 2022, Grace Young, of Glenwood, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was ninety-one years old. She was born on April 5, 1930, to Guy and Gertrude Haskins.

She married James J. Young at Shannopin Methodist Church in South Heights, Pennsylvania on June 5, 1952.

Grace cared deeply for her family, friends and neighbors. She made time for everyone and always provided support and love for her family. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Young, Sr. and by her son, James Young, Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Dolores Hughes; her son, Charles Young; her daughter, Dolores Young Rossen and husband, John; her granddaughter, Jessica Lackey and husband, Michael; two grandsons, Tom Cuneo and Zane Cuneo; and two great-grandchildren, Carson Lackey and Dax Lackey.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 31, 2022, in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Erby Burgess officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood.
