Grace Burnett Chitwood age 92 of Benton died Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Benton. She was born July 14, 1916 in Montgomery County Arkansas, the daughter of the late T. M. and Josephine Logan Burnett. She was a member of Curtis First Baptist Church. Her husband, J. O. (Sport) Chitwood, a daughter, Linda Hale, several brothers and sisters and one great-grandson preceded her in death.
Survivors are one son, Bill Chitwood (Lola) of Benton, AR, two daughters, Brenda Schmidt and Mary Arden (Larry) both of Kilgore, TX.; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Harts Chapel Cemetery near Curtis with Bro. Melvin Burris officiating. Arrangements are by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
