Grace Brown

Grace H. Brown, 88, of Springdale, AR passed away at home Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Born in Thayer, Missouri, a former Des Arc, Arkansas resident later moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas, and finally retired in Springdale, Arkansas to be closer to daughter and family. Her life was a long and happy life with husband of 64 years Walter M. Brown, who widowed her just a little over a year ago. The cause of her death was of natural causes, cancer won the battle in the end.
Grace was an active member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church, Pentecostal faith. She loved to sew and was a retired seamstress. Anyone who knew her knew she was one of the best cooks and gardeners of the south.
Survivors include one sister, Oddie Weatherly of Des Arc, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bob McPherson of Springdale; three grandchildren, Vincent McPherson of Springdale, Karen McPherson of Dallas, Texas and Michael McPherson of Rogers, Arkansas; six great-grand children and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jeff Hutcheson and Pastor James Hathorn will be officiating. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
