Grace Beardsley
Grace Pauline Weybright Beardsley, 93, born August 25, 1921, passed away September 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Arthur V. Beardsley Jr. and a brother, Charles Weybright. She is survived by her twin sister, Hazel Wyland of Elk Grove, CA; two sons, A.V. "Buster" Beardsley III and wife Billie and Ray Beardsley and wife Sheila; two grandchildren, Scott Beardsley and wife Lynn, Lori Chapman and husband Paul; seven great grandchildren, all residing in Little Rock; and a niece, Mindy Sokolich of Crescent City, CA.
Grace was an active member of Pleasant Valley Country Club and was instrumental in starting a couple's bridge group. She was an avid golfer. Grace was a member of St. James Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Fox Ridge in Bryant for the care and attention they gave Grace.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 28 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). A private family burial service will take place at the Little Rock National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, 2002 S. Fillmore, Little Rock, AR 72204.
