Grace "Anne" Albertson Srygley, 73, passed away June 23 at her home. Anne is survived by her children, Susan Srygley and Todd Srygley (Margaret), all of Benton. Also surviving her are two grandchildren, Benjamin Martin of Little Rock and R. Katherine Martin of Conway, a sister Bertie (Kendall) Parker of Harrison, Tennessee and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Edwin L. Srygley; her parents, Buell and Josephine Albertson; brother, Norman Albertson; and sisters, Juanita Morton, Emma Earle Blasingame, and Josephine Hamilton.
Anne was born on November 25, 1934 in Little Rock. She attended Little Rock High School. Anne was the ultimate "mom" dedicating her life to her family. She supported Todd and Susan in every aspect of their lives. She was President of the PTA at Western Hills Elementary School, a founding member of the West County Sheltered Workshop in St. Louis, and a regular member of the Journey Contemporary Service at St. Paul United Methodist Church supporting Todd and her granddaughter, Katie who were in the Praise Band. Anne loved her family.
Anne attended Little Rock's First Baptist Church and St. Paul UMC, also in Little Rock. Rev. John Fleming will officiate at a family memorial service that will be held at a later date.
