Gloria Louise Crossland

Gloria Louise Crossland went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2024. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on August 15, 1930, Gloria grew up on a diary farm and spoke fondly of the life there with her parents, Luther Dale and Isla Housholder, and her siblings. She was a mother of five children, grandmother to six, and great grandmother to five. A lifelong homemaker, Gloria enjoyed making delicious meals for her friends and family and spending time with her beloved church community groups over the years. Later in life she became a loving caregiver to different families.

Coming to know the Lord and joining the community of Fellowship Bible Church was life-changing for Gloria and her family. She could often be heard humming a tune to a hymn as she worked, and she treasured sharing about Jesus with those around her. Gloria is predeceased by her brothers: Luther Dale, Franklin and David Housholder; her sisters: Betty Meehan, Rhoda Hickman and Carolyn Laster-Smith; her daughters, Cheri Lynne and Lisa Ann Crossland, and her grandson Captain Anthony Riggan USAF and his wife Nicole. She is survived by her children: Al Crossland, Mary Jane Riggan and husband Tony, Jamie Crossland and wife Caren; grandchildren, Sean Crossland, Katie Crossland, Maggie Riggan Chism and husband Blake, Kyle Crossland and wife Jesse, and Will Crossland and fiancé Jamilet Aguilar; great grandchildren Owen Crossland, Eloise Crossland, Mary Martin Chism, Grace Abbott Chism and Chip Chism.

Undoubtedly, Gloria is rejoicing to be in Heaven with Jesus and reunited with her lost loved ones. A celebration of life will be held Monday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Fellowship Bible Church.
