Glenna Mae Bottoms Long, 82, of Jacksonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 30,2022. She was born on November 5, 1939 in Briggsville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Long; her parents, Ervin Bottoms and Myrtle Mae Elliott Bottoms; six brothers; and five sisters; and one grandson, Anthony W. Long II.
Survivors includes her son Ricky Eugene Long and wife Judith; Anthony Wayne Long and wife Deborah. She leaves behind her six grandchildren, Chad Eugene Long and wife Abby; Holly Benbrook; Troy Cosby and wife Brandi; Shawna Cosby; Christopher Long and wife Kellie; Genieve Long-Irby and husband Jeremy; and the apple of her eye was her twelve great grandchildren, Owen, Elijah, Katelynn, Skylar, Spencer, Sophie, Alyah, Gabe, April, Anthony, Nathaniel, and Ali; an "adopted" granddaughter, Iisha Lemming; and her best friend and brother Robert Bottoms.
Glenna lived the last 48 years for the Lord. Her grandson said it best, “My grandmother was small in stature, only 4’9”, but anyone that knew her, knew she wasn’t small in faith”. She had a heart of gold and would help anybody. She is and will be very missed by many.
Visitation will be at 10:00 AM, August 3, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, 1401 Calvary Road, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. After the service, she will be laid to rest at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
