Glenn "David" Thomas, 48, of Benton, Arkansas passed away July 30, 2018. He was born October 31, 1969 in Altus, Oklahoma.
David was a devoted Christian and family man. He dearly loved his bride and his three precious children. He enjoyed the beach, he enjoyed camping, and he enjoyed just being with family and friends. He could make any occasion a fun time. He laughed a lot and brought others along with him. Everyone loved David! He enjoyed sports, especially Aggie football. He was a big dreamer and always saw hope for a bright future. He is loved very much.
Preceding David in death are his sister, Andrea Dobbs; grandmother, Luella Thomas; and father-in-law, James Harris.
David leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty-four years, Merideth Thomas of Benton; sons: Maxwell and Samuel Thomas of Benton; daughter, Shelby Thomas of Benton; parents, Glenn and Mozelle Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Micah Smith and husband Jonathan of Amarillo, Texas; mother-in-law, Ruth Harris of Emory, Texas; sister-in-law, Andrea Young and husband Paul of Richardson, Texas; brother-in-law, Nathan Harris and wife Sonia of Sulphur Springs, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends who love David and will miss him always.
Reception visitation held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, August 2, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Shannon Wood, held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 3, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
