Glenn E. "Buzz" Stewart age 79, of the Curtis Community near Arkadelphia, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at his home. He was born October 24, 1935 in Clark County Arkansas to Pearl Everett and Leslie Elizabeth Pontious Stewart. Buzz was an auto mechanic and worked at Ouachita Baptist University. He was a member of Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.
He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Lynn Stewart and one granddaughter, Andrea Stewart.
Survivors are his wife, Kathleen Henson Stewart; three sons, David Wayne Stewart of Hot Springs, Michael Wayne Stewart of Helena, James Everett Stewart of Conway; one daughter, Glenda Kay Lillardy of Van Buren; two brothers, Harold Don Stewart of Arkadelphia, Charles "Panky" Stewart of Curtis; one sister, Joanna Bittle of Deming, New Mexico; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 9th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.
