Glenn Kevin Gunter

Glenn Kevin Gunter, age 69, born on February 10, 1956, gained his wings on March 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a retired auto mechanic, known for his hardworking nature and passion for his craft. Glenn was not only dedicated to his profession but also had a deep love for his family, which remained at the core of his life.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 29 years, Lisa Gunter, and their three daughters: Charity Olive of Bryant, Krystal (Keith) Steele of Conway, and Stormy Gunter of Benton. Glenn is also survived by his sons, Curtis Kennedy and Jessie Gunter, both of Benton, and a bonus daughter, Star Strayhorn. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and three great grandsons, who will forever hold cherished memories of their time with him.

Glenn's family connections extended to his sister, Carla Anderson of Benton, and his brother, Phil Gunter of Little Rock. He was also the cherished uncle to his niece, Nichole (Jason) Edwards of Conway, and had a special bond with his cousin, Keith Gunter.

In his leisure time, Glenn found joy in riding his motorcycle, tinkering with it, indulging in BBQ cookouts, and fishing. His spirited personality and zest for life brought happiness to those around him. Despite the challenges he faced with his health, Glenn was a fighter who faced every obstacle with determination and resilience.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to special friends Fred Cochran and Jerry Welch for facilitating Glenn's last cherished ride to Alabama and Florida, creating lasting memories in his final days.

Glenn joins in eternity his father, Dewell Gunter, and mother, Sue Holder, as well as his grandchild, Kay Bea Kennedy, and will be mourned alongside other family members lost, including his niece Stephanie Anderson, brother-in-law Monty Anderson, and sister-in-law Debbie Gunter.
