Glendon Bevill
Glendon "Doc" Bevill, 80, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born June 10, 1929, to the late W. L. and Otha Allen Bevill at Beebe, and he died Friday, November 6, 2009. He was a member of Beebe Masonic Lodge and VFW Post 7769.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Myra Darden.
Doc is survived by his son, Ed Bevill of North Little Rock; stepdaughters Ida Mae (David) Rockenbach of McRae and Gladys (Wendell) Williams of Carrollton, Texas; stepson Martin Linder of McRae; granddaughter Stephanie Darden of Beebe; four great-grandchildren; four step-grandsons; one step-granddaughter; eight step-great-grandchildren; long-time companion Gloria Hayne; and many friends.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch Cemetery. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com
