Glenda Sue Heflin Majors age 72, of Malvern, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Malvern. She was born November 4, 1948 to the late Thomas Glen and Sue Strother Heflin. Glenda worked at Western Foam Pack and later at Reynolds Cable plant which later became BBIC Cable for many years.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Willena Barbara Jimmerson Messbarger , and an infant brother.
Survivors are her children, Pamela Ann Majors Dove of Olathe, Kansas, Billy Bob Majors of Malvern, Arkansas; a grandson, Andrue Scott Rucksdaeshe of Olathe, Kansas; her siblings, Luther Weldon Strother of Arkansas, William Bruce Jimmerson of California, Diedra Blassengame Phel of Altice, Texas, Shelia Ann Wilson, Tommy Heflin and wife, Gayla of Deridder, Louisiana and Brenda Slough of Laporte, Texas.
Glenda’s grandson was the light of her life and she enjoyed spoiling him… even before he could speak. Andrue loved his NaNa and they had a special bond. They had a special saying to show love, “Splitty Splat” meaning a huge wet sloppy kiss. Glenda was a hard worker providing for her family.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, January 28th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
