Glenda Carol Rice

Glenda Carol Rice, age 65, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020.

She was born on July 25, 1955, in Dermott, the daughter of Coy Millwood and Dorothy Rose Millwood. On March 1, 2006, she married Vincent Rice, Sr. She was preceded in death by one son, William Gates; her parents; two brothers, Roger Millwood and Harrison Millwood; and two sisters, Dolly Gregory and Ann Caputo.

Glenda was Christian in faith. She worked for many years in food service, working as a waitress and cashier. Glenda enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and playing Bingo, but her greatest joy was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent Rice, Sr. of Hot Springs; two sons, Wayne (Amy) Gates and Deshawn (Summer) Logan, all of Hot Springs; thirteen grandchildren; two step-sons, Vince (Hayley) Rice, Jr. and Jonthan (Victoria) Rice, all of Van Buren; two brothers, Johnny (Melonie) Millwood of Pearcy and Arland Millwood of Oklahoma; three sisters, Delta Millwood of Sherwood, Delain (Mike) Britt of Pearcy and Nora (Terry) Dennison of Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
