Glen Taylor Cox, 80, of Little Rock, passed away April 11, 2012. Born in Bigelow to Taylor and Eve Elizabeth Beardsley Cox, he was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Architecture and worked for the State of Arkansas for over 20 years. Glen loved vegetable gardening and growing orchids, woodworking, photography, fly fishing, traveling and cooking. He was a very kind and gentle man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Juanita and Dorothy, and his brother, John, he is survived by his wife, Margaret "Sissy" Sanford Cox; daughters, Charlotte Michele Cox of Castro Valley, California and Rachael Elizabeth Cox of Raleigh, North Carolina; step-daughter, Christy Balraj (Robin) of Arlington, Texas; step-son, Thomas J. Raney IV (Ziva) of Durham, North Carolina; and two grandchildren, Zachary and Noah Raney.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 12415 Cantrell Rd., officiated by Rev. Ed Wills. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity or to the Humane Society of Pulaski County.
