Thomas Glen Heflin age 91 of Caddo Valley passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born January 11, 1924 in Clark County the son of the late James Richard and Dora Florence Allen Heflin. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Reynolds Metals Co. Jones Mills plant. Glen was an active and a longtime member of Caddo Valley Baptist Church. He was an avid gardener and loved to fish and hunt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Hazel Heflin; two sisters, Opal Dodson and Hazel Montgomery; three brothers, Forest "Jim" Heflin, Granville Heflin and Clyde Heflin.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Glen Heflin of DeRidder, Louisiana; two daughters, Glenda Sue Majors of Malvern, Brenda Kay Slough of La Porte, Texas; one step-son, Larry Neil Ragsdale of Ft. Myers, Florida; one step-daughter, Patricia Sue Ragsdale Johnson of Hot Springs; two sisters, Maxine Crawley and Jean Welch both of Caddo Valley, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 26th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Doug White officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Caddo Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 pm Saturday until service at the funeral home.
