Glen Ray Gill, 74, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008. He was born December 8, 1933 in Little Rock, the son of Riley P. Gill, Sr. and Minnie Reed Gill. He was a USMC veteran of the Korean War. Glen retired after 33 years from Western Electric and also worked for the Game and Fish Commission for 15 years. He was a member of the Rose Hill Church of the Nazarene.
His survivors include his loving wife, Pat Gill; two sons, Rommel Gill and wife, Lisa, and Rodney Gill; four granddaughters, Amanda, Whitney, Haley and Riley; three grandsons, Rommel Glynn, Buddy Gill, and Kaden; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Riley P. Gill, Jr. and Billy Gill and one sister, Wilma Grosenbaugh.
Visitation will be Monday, March 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
