Glen Roland Buck age 83 of Arkadelphia passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born January 15, 1927 to Monroe and Katie Childress Buck of Clark County, Arkansas. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department, a veteran of WWII, and a member of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Bonnie Williams Buck, a daughter, Janice Buck Medine, a grandson, John Kramer, daughter-in-law, Kathy K. Buck and his brothers, Grady, Curtis, Homer, Doyle, and Arnold Buck.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Elizabeth Blakley Buck of Arkadelphia, one son, Michael Glen Buck of Hot Springs, one brother, Elendle Buck and his wife Miriam of Arkadelphia, two sisters, Lois Buck Kirksey of Amity and Hazel Buck of Strasburg, Virginia, a step daughter, Charla Blakley Garrison and her husband David of Houston, Texas, a step-son, James Blakley and his wife Becky of Killeen, Texas, his granddaughter, Jessica Buck Gastorf and her husband Ricky of Warrenton, Missouri, a grandson, Joshua Buck of Hot Springs and seven step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Weir Cemetery in Okolona, AR. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Elton and Troy Buck, Bill Little, Chris Kirksey, Tim Watson and James Deaton.
