Gladys Johnson
Gladys Virginia Barfield Johnson, age 88, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Arkadelphia. She was born July 7, 1927 at Dobeyville to the late Rev. Joe and Gracie McDaniel Barfield. She was a retired teacher and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Johnson.
Survivors are her children, Stan (Jan) Johnson of Arkadelphia; Judy (Gary) Buller of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Patrick (Kayla) Grainger, Gracie Johnson and J. J, Johnson.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 15th at South Fork Cemetery near Gurdon with Bro. James McCain officiating. Visitation will be 8:30 until 9:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
