Gladys Lila Hernandez

We are sad to announce the passing of our queen Gladys Hernandez. Many knew her as Lila who was born in Ponce, P.R and resided in North Little Rock Arkansas. Gladys was 81 years old and passed away on 11/26/22.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frankie, Mami Rosa Gonzalez, her siblings Teresa Rivera, Carmen Rodriguez and Israel Rolon, her son Roberto Hernandez and granddaughter Stephanie Hernandez.

Gladys was a stay at home mom who raised many, many children. She loved to cook, laugh and party. She loved her Bacardi and Splash of Coke. She loved to dance to her favorite song Ring My Bell.

Lila always wanted her family and friends around. To know Lila is to love her, she never met a stranger. She never let you leave with an empty stomach.

 She was not just a mother she was a grandmother and a great-grandmother. Lila was loved by the community here in Arkansas and in Chicago as well. Lila was survived by 10 children, 31 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren along with extended family members.
