GLADYS K. BEATTY, 99, of Little Rock died April 21, 2015. She was born January 1, 1916 to the late Charlie Gay Kumler and Susie May Kumler in Bellflower, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester (Chet) Beatty, her parents, and sister Eloise Johnson (Leslie). Gladys is survived by step-daughter Judy Griffith (Bill), granddaughter Kris Ciaramella (Rich), and two great grandchildren, Ryan and Rachael, nephews Jerry Johnson (Martha) and Terry Johnson (Dorothy), and many great and great-great-nephews and nieces.

Gladys spent much of her adult life with her beloved husband, Chet, first in Pennsylvania then in Florida. They loved traveling the country in their travel trailer and were avid square dancers. Gladys was an accomplished amateur painter, displaying her paintings wherever she lived. She was a long-term resident of Andover Place in Little Rock, and a member of the Little Rock First Church of the Nazarene.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Andover Place, 2601 Andover Court, Little Rock, AR 72227. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116 or Little Rock First Church of the Nazarene, 1200 N. Mississippi St., Little Rock, AR 72207.
