Gina Thornton Toland

Gina Gale Thornton Toland, 39, of North Little Rock passed from this life on January 20, 2021. She was born April 1, 1981 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Sara Payne Thornton. Gina was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her kind and loving nature carried over into her career as a Respiratory Therapist, where she treated every patient like they were family. She loved to cook, but found her greatest joy in time spent with her family, especially her children. There will never be anyone who can replace the gentle, compassionate, genuine love that Gina gave to everyone around her.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband of eight years, Dustin Toland; children, Jacob Voyles, Ethan, Gavin and Brody Toland; parents, Charles and Sara Thornton; siblings, Belinda (Steve) Rutledge, Roxanna (James) Gertiser, Dan Thornton; mother-in-law, Sandra Toland; brothers-in-law, Jon Toland and Jason (Lindsey) Toland and sister-in-law, Mary Thornton. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, Joe and Jordan Thornton, Max Gertiser, Taylor Rutledge, Jaime (Steven) Wright, Tinsley Rutledge, Will and Jace Toland; great niece and nephew, Will and MacKenzie Wright; along with a host of other extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Greer officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021 at the funeral home.
