Gina McDonald

Gina McDonald, 70, of North Little Rock (previously of Texarkana), Arkansas, died on Friday, July 5, 2024, after a short illness. She was born on June 24, 1954, in Malvern, to Glen and Jackie McDonald.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law Norman “Skip” Beaton and William Meeks. She is survived by siblings Karen Beaton, Patti Meeks, and Rebecca Gault, brothers-in-law Joey Bettis and Mark Gault, nephews Robert Meeks, Daniel Meeks, and Clayton Gault, nieces Sarah Meeks Kelly, Kelly Beaton and Avery Gault, grandnephew Brady Kelly, and cherished friends, Patti Pafford Ferguson and Vickie Shackelford Gentry.

Known for her sardonic sense of humor, she attended Henderson University and lived for many years in Dallas, Texas. Gina doted on her family, particularly nieces and nephews. She was a voracious reader and a lover of all animals, especially birds. Gina was active on social media, promoting animal-cruelty prevention and environmental causes. She will be missed.
