Gina Carter

November 16, 1961 — December 16, 1961

Gina Carter

Gina Lynn Carter, 57, of Pottsville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord December 15, 2018. She was born November 16, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jeanette (Ballard) Heffington and the late Glenn Hubert Smith.
Gina worked at Novus International as a shipping coordinator. She was an inspirational woman. No matter what she was faced with, she was bigger, stronger, and tougher than the obstacle. She always saw the bright side of life and her laughter was contagious. Gina loved her family. She was a doting grandmother and fiercely protective. She was a free spirit and had a desire to live life to the fullest-literally fighting to win the war with cancer with all her heart. Gina took her personal battles and turned them into a strong foundation which inspired and helped her family and others. Her struggles did not weaken her but made her stronger. Gina enjoyed fishing, listening to classic rock, and seeing the majesty of God's creation in Alaska.
Preceding Gina in death are her father, Glenn Smith; her dad who raised her, Farrell Heffington; grandparents, Louis and Minnie Ballard; and son-in-law, Todd Rollison.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Amber Rollison and Bren Bryant of Pottsville, Arkansas, Brandy Engle and husband James of Benton, Arkansas, and Jordan Ward of Alexander, Arkansas; grandchildren: Ethan Robbins, Bren Bryant, Andrew Robbins, Khali Engle, Brody Engle, and Abigail Bryant; mother, Jeanette (Ballard) Heffington of Benton, Arkansas; three sisters: Tomilene Scholze of Benton, Carla Langley and husband Joe of Benton, and Miki Ashley and husband Jerry of Dickson, Oklahoma; brother, Shane Taylor of Benton; many special nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends who love Gina and will miss her always.
