Geraldine Whisnant

Geraldine Whisnant, 87, of Little Rock, died September 13, 2009. She was born July 16, 1922 in So. Pittsburg, Tennessee, the daughter of Walter and Dora Hill Merriman. Jerri enjoyed a successful career as a legal assistant and in the real estate industry. She worked with her husband, J.C., at Block Realty as office manager and later as a sales agent for R.P.M. and the Armstrong Team.
Preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Whisnant, parents and brothers, she is survived by her children, Cliff Whisnant and wife, Tricia of Dallas, Texas, Bill Whisnant and Bob Whisnant and wife, Susan, all of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Emily and Charlie Whisnant of Dallas and Brooke, Brad, Brent, John and Page Whisnant of Little Rock.
Services will be held on Friday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi, officiated by Rev. Danny Schieffler. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Bob and Susan Whisnant at 10 Bent Tree Dr., Little Rock.
