Geraldine Walker 83 passed away October 20th, 2017. She was born at the bottom of Petit Jean Mountain on April 26, 1934. She was preceded in death by parents Safronia and James Newman, husband Haskell Walker , son Larry Walker, two brothers, Quinton and Floyd Newman, and five sisters, Mamie Ashley, Dorothy Thomas, Faye Mobbs, Jean Cox and Jane Newman.
Geraldine is survived by two sons and one daughter, Phil and Jeannie Walker, Allen and Tammy Walker, and Laura and Mick Wilson, her daughter-in-law Donna Walker, five grandchildren, Phillip, Jeremy, Ross, Michael, and Ashlee; five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Chloe, Aiden, and Marlee ; one great-great-granddaughter, Macie, and a very special friend and companion Bob Irving.
A loving mother, and will be missed by all. She was a true lifelong Christian and member of Christian Assembly of God.
Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 a.m. October 23rd, 2017 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, with visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas.
