Geraldine "Gerry" Phillips Kaden, 94, of Cabot died June 16th, 2016 in Plano, Texas with her son, Tom Kaden by her side. Gerry was born August 21, 1921 in Independence County, Arkansas. She was one of nine children born to the late Wm Thomas and Hazel Phillips. Gerry was a devoted mother and wife and a dedicated real estate professional in Cabot, Arkansas until her retirement in 1985.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lt. Col Roy E. Kaden; siblings: Grisham Phillips, Bobby Phillips, Max Phillips, Sujo McAfee, Patsy Knight, and Georgian West.
Survivors include three children: Tom Kaden, Linda Jane Hirman and Sara Costley; siblings: Gene Phillips and Van Bazille; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren
An informal Celebration of Gerry's life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mr. Carmel Cemetery, Cabot, Arkansas.
