Geraldine Brown Hatcher Maness, born September 6, 1942 passed from this life January 18, 2020. Dean
was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and was loved dearly and deeply in return.
She is survived by 8 children; Shirley Spears of Bigelow, AR; Joe (JoAnn) Hatcher of Bigelow, AR; Grace Palmer of Yazoo City, MS; Pam (Roger) Gilliland of Anguilla, MS; Pat (Bubba) Nix of Houston, AR; Brandi
Oaks of Cary, MS; Kathy (Shawn) Flieger of Greenbrier, AR; Michelle (Robin) Little of Greenbrier, AR; 23 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Henrietta Thomason of Iuka, MS; and Kathleen Kemp
of Mammoth Springs, AR; 3 brothers; Carlton Brown of Tishomingo, MS; JK Brown of Belmont, MS; and
Ira Brown of Myrtle, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Carl Denzel Brown of Rolling Fork, MS; parents Carl and Clura
Brown of Tishomingo, MS; brothers Rob , Bob and Mack Brown all of Bigelow, AR; brother Billy Brown of Florence, AL; grandchildren Amber Nix of Houston, AR; and Joseph Hatcher Ill of Bigelow, AR; and son­
in-law Craig Spears of Bigelow, AR.
Services will be held January 21, 2020 at 1:00 at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway, AR. Family and -friend are welcome to meet at Griffin-Leggett for visitation at 12:00 pm prior to the service.
Pall bearers will be grandsons, Dusty Palmer, Kasey Gilliland, Timothy Nix, Zachary Oaks, Devon Flieger, Dakota Maness. Honorary pall bearer Patrick Hatcher.
