Gerald Wood
Gerald "Woody" R. Wood, 76, of North Little Rock passed away October 12, 2011. He was a member of CrossPoint Church in Ferndale and retired from AT&T (Teletype) where he worked as a machine operator. After retirement he worked for Little Rock Printing and for the last 10 years he drove a bus for PCSSD.
He is survived by two sons, Randy Wood (Tami), of Ferndale and Rod Borges (Marty); two daughters, Kathy Wages, of North Little Rock, and Karen Mullinax (David); and granddaughter, Ashlyn Wood, all of Benton; two grandsons, Luke and Jacob Wood of Ferndale; sister, Wanda Sigler (Lee) of Gravel Ridge and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Charlie Wood; son, Charles Wood and brother, Wendell Wood.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pine Mountain Cemetery in Damascus. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
