Gerald E. Steele, 71, of Little Rock was called to service by his Lord Jesus Christ Saturday, July 12th.
He was a Vietnam veteran and a proud member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, a Sheriff near El Dorado and worked for the Army Corp of Engineers. He loved music, guitars and cars.
Mr. Steele was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Steele and Mildred Embrey. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Steele, Little Rock; five step-children, Mary Walker, Edna Hilpert, both of Arkansas, Ken Farley, Jimmy Farley, and Lisa Sisson all of Missouri; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
