Gerald Lee Tolleson

Gerald Lee Tolleson, age 74, of Kirby, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. He was born on April 1, 1940, in Glenwood, the son of John Forest Tolleson and Ruby Viola Sloan Tolleson. He was a retired logger and attended the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church. Gerald was an avid horseman, who enjoyed riding his beloved horse "Peanut" every day. He is survived by his brother, Odell "Sarge" Tolleson of Glenwood; two sisters-in-law, Delorious Tolleson of Kirby and Georgia Tolleson of Nashville; three nieces, Lisa Morphew, Valerie Womack and Tina Waggoner; one nephew, John Tolleson; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 13, 2014, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Kevin Jewell officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
