Gerald "Gerry" F. Brown, 77, of Little Rock passed away on June 29th, 2014 while on a trip abroad to Belgrade, Serbia. He was born on December 14, 1936 in Colchester, Vermont to Col. (Ret.) Gerald Brown, Sr. and Muriel of El Paso, Texas. Gerry graduated from Oklahoma City University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He worked for Texaco for over 12 years and then was employed by MPH-Applied Concepts Radar Detectors for over 25 years. Following retirement in 1997, he enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, Mary Ann.
Survivors include his favorite Auntie Joyce Brace, of New Jersey; loving wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Brown of Little Rock; son, William Brown and wife, Donna of New Braunfels, Texas; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Brown of Little Rock and Heather Renee' Postema and husband, Jake of Benton; two grandchildren, William Brown, Jr. and Brianna Brown of New Braunfels, Texas; and constant companion of 6 years, Lucky Brown.
A private memorial was held in Belgrade. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society or Life Quest, PO Box 25523, Little Rock, AR 72221.
