Gerold Alexzander Blevins, 59, of Little Rock, AR was born in Lancing, MI on January 20th, 1957. He died in Little Rock, AR on July 1st, 2016.
Gerold was a wise and loving Father, Brother, and Friend. He was a man of resilience, strength, independence, and love. He worked with his hands as a carpenter for over 30 years; always proud and admirable of his craft. Gerold cherished the little things in life the most, be it a beautiful view from a construction site he worked on, the spotting of a hawk soaring alongside the highway he traveled, the discovery of a penny lying heads up at his feet, a long, meaningful conversation shared with someone near and dear, or even a quiet afternoon spent relaxing with his dog, Guffy. He was known for his courageous ability to dance to the beat of his own drum, always welcoming of a companion, always comfortable with flying solo. Gerold radiated strength and love and will forever be cherished, loved, and missed.
He was preceded by his oldest brother, Richard Blevins, his nephew Jason Blevins, and his parents Ruben R. Blevins and Dorothy J. Blevins.
Surviving are his daughter, Christina Blevins, his brothers Pete Blevins and Wesley Blevins, his sisters Sharon Blevins, his nieces Sarah Blevins, Jennifer Blevins, and Ashley Perez, and his nephews David Blevins, Chris Blevins, Nathan Arras, and Michael Perez.
