Georgiana Woods
Georgiana Ruth Woods, 94, of Little Rock, passed away September 23, 2011. She was born in Jackson, Minnesota to George Magyar and Mary Elizabeth (Ferrick) Magyar. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church and a bookkeeper for the Arkansas State Welfare Department.
She was a loving wife and grandmother. Jewelry making, crocheting, sewing and quilting had been her hobbies for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family which includes her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Wilson (Allen) of Egan, LA, Rosemary Woods of Bryant, AR, Margaret Woods of Little Rock, AR; son, Paul A. Woods of Little Rock, AR; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Woods, parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m Tuesday, September 27 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Father John Connell serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at Little Rock Funeral Home on Monday, September 26 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with the Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m.
