Georgia Lee Slabaugh, age 72, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023.

 

She was born on August 19, 1950, in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of William Main and Clarece Stewart Main.  On July 28, 1978, she married Bobby Slabaugh.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Mark Main.

 

Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She loved her family with her whole heart and easily made friends with everyone.  She delighted in taking her grandchildren places.  She loved to cook and really enjoyed finding new recipes to make for the family.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Bobby Slabaugh of Hot Springs; her daughter, Jenny Slabaugh of Cooter, Missouri; her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Michelle Deaver of Blytheville; four granddaughters; four grandsons; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Holly Askew and Laurie Klein; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

 

A private family celebration will be held at a later time.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
