George Woods

George Edward Woods, 79, of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with the Lord March 5, 2018. He was an Air Force Veteran and was retired from ABF after working twenty-three years. He attended Open Arms Assembly of God. He loved to hunt and fish.

Edward is survived by his wife, Patricia Armstrong Woods of Beebe; one son, Harold Keith Vaughn of Jacksonville; daughters Deborah Lynn Phillips of Bald Knob, Rhonda Campbell of Beebe, Patty Homsley of Higginson and Lola Thomas of Beebe; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother Stanley Woods of Beebe; two sisters Ann Miller of West Memphis and Judy Sanders of Salisaw, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; five sisters; one son, Harry Wayne Vaughn; and one grandson.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
