George Wilson

George "Wick" Wilson, 72, of Little Rock went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. He was born July 25, 1943 in Mayflower, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ira Wilson; four brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Wilson (Kristy), Teresa Boyd (Dale) and Jill Hash; brother, Charles Wilson; sister, Sue Cox; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Wick was a driven and successful business man with night clubs and W&S Excavating to name a few. He had a love for the Arkansas River, boats, Razorbacks and classic cars. He loved the Lord and was a member of New Beginnings Mission Church of Furlow. Wick was a loving and caring man who adored his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The family wants to give thanks to Home Care Professionals, Arkansas Hospice and Becky Wilson for the amazing care and love shown to Wick.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 3 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 5th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mayflower Cemetery. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
