George Richard Warrick, "Tooter", age 70, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed into the arms of Jesus unexpectedly on June 11, 2023. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 12, 1952 to the late Robert and Faye Lovell Warrick.
George grew up in North Little Rock with his four siblings helping his daddy farm and going to church with his mom. Any chance he had to spend on the water, fishing or in the woods hunting, he took great enjoyment in. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High School. He had a long career in the commercial printing industry while also owning Alfords Dairy Bar in North Little Rock. He enjoyed much of his time hunting at Ingalls Hunting Club, where he was a member for many years.
He and Debbie McCuin wed in 1972 and were happily married for 43 years. Even after her passing, he wore his wedding band and honored her memory daily. In "the hottest summer ever" they welcomed their only child, Kami. George cherished his family and adored their daughter. Kami will always be her daddy's little girl and hold tight to all wonderful memories made together.
In 2006, George was overjoyed to be promoted to "Pop Pop" with the arrival of his namesake, Zane Richard Tafoya. The only thing as exciting to him was welcoming his second grandson, Levi Samuel Tafoya four years later. Retirement and being a full time Pop Pop suited him well. He and "his boys" had many adventures and made lifelong memories together.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Warrick; his parents and a brother, Donald Warrick.
He is survived by his daughter, Kami Tafoya and son-in-love Lee Tafoya of North Little Rock, and his 2 grandsons, Zane and Levi Tafoya; a brother Col. Robert Paul Warrick, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Montana; sisters Ina Henry (Ricky) of Scott and Janice Payne (William) of Little Rock, as well as many nieces and nephews.
George loved his family more than anything. We are so thankful for the Godly, strong, caring, and amazing man he was.
The Blessing Box, a local free standing food box ministry, will be creating a box in George's memory. George loved to fill Blessing Boxes with food and resources for families in need.
