George W. Qualls

George W. Qualls, age 82, of Mount Ida, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016. He was born on July 31, 1934, in Oden, the son of Rufus Qualls and Lydia Willhite Qualls. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, J. D. Qualls and Olen Qualls. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and a public accountant for almost 50 years in the Montgomery County area. He is survived by his wife, Velma Jean Qualls of Mount Ida; one stepson, Travis Spurling of Story; two sisters, Clara Goss of Alpharetta, Georgia and Wanda Williams of Arkadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
