George Rumker

George C. Rumker, 99, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away on July 2, 2021 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary. George was born in Conway, Arkansas on February 22, 1922 to John and Mary Hegeman Rumker. He dedicated his entire career to Agricultural Manufacturing, having retired from Ben Pearson Manufacturing Company. George was a 40+ year member of West 65th Street Church of Christ in Little Rock.

George is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 72 years, Opal Pauline Rumker; son Bill Rumker; brother Andy Rumker; and sister Leona Rumker. He is survived by a sister, Betsy Gary of Conway, Ark.; a brother, Bill Rumker of Kansas City, Mo., and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the West 65th Street Church of Christ.

A visitation will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral home at 8801 Knoedl Ct. Little Rock, Ark., 72205 on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A service will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don McClain officiating. Interment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
