George M Owen

George Owen, age 80, of Beebe, passed away on June 28, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1943, to Frank and Johnnie Owen in Crossett, AR. He was a talented Banjoist and loved Bluegrass music.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Fay Owen; one daughter; one granddaughter; and two great grandchildren.

George is survived by his brother, John (Barbara) Owen; his sister, Emily (John) Douglas; four daughters; and a host of other family members

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas.
