George Nipps

George Calvin Nipps passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the age of 91. He was born in Casa, Arkansas on August 23, 1929 to Wiley Boston and Dovie Lee Nipps

Calvin retired from Safeway after 34 years of employment, he was an Army veteran serving from 1955-1963, and earned his 32nd Degree Mason in 1977 and was member of the Big Rock Lodge #633 in Little Rock.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 70 years, Mary (Pat) Swint Nipps and three daughters, Debbie Burrow (Rodney), Lisa Hicks and Karen Mihecoby; five grandchildren, Heather Burrow (Thad), Crystal Crone (John), Joshua Hicks, Jasmine Jones and Sidney Mihecoby; four great-grandchildren, Shelby and Sierra Burrow, Anabella and Gabriel Crone; two great-great-grandchildren, Aleigha and Aubreigh Fortenberry; and many relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank Kindred Hospice for the loving care provided to Calvin during his final days.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday November 23, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, with service following at 2:00 p.m.
