George Howell

Mike Howell, 71, of Conway, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015. Mike was born March 26, 1944 in Cabot, Arkansas, to the late David and Inez Howell.

Mike was raised in Cabot and graduated from Cabot High School. His senior year, Mike joined the Arkansas National Guard and was a member for six years. Mike moved to Little Rock, married and started a family. He began a career with Entergy (Arkansas Power & Light Company) where he became one of the youngest presidents of the Right of Way Association. Mike retired after 30 years with Entergy. What he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren and sharing their pictures and stories with everyone. Mike and Ann recently moved to Conway to be closer with their family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Thelma Inez Howell and sister, Paula Janette Howell.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Alice "Ann" Howell; sister Phyllis Jane and husband Jim Bryant; son Michael "Andy" Howell and his daughter Hayley; son Jay Howell, his wife Tracy and their children Payton and Paxton; along with numerous extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation will from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas.
