George Freeman
George Dewey Freeman, 92, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, February 2, 2007. He was retired owner and operator of Freeman Grocery in Alexander, North Carolina, World War II veteran and loved to golf.
He is survived by his wife, Wren (Hunter) Freeman; son, George ?Red? and wife, Mary Freeman, all of North Little Rock; daughter, Judy and husband, Jim Benfield, of Black Mountain, North Carolina; brother, Albert Freeman, of Marshall, North Carolina; two sisters, Robena Davis, of Canton, North Carolina and Esther Denier, of Detroit, Michigan; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
